Frequently asked questions

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. All image processing, OCR and PDF generation happen locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your photos are never sent to GKP Tool's servers.

Does OCR work for Hindi handwriting?

OCR works best on clearly printed text. Hindi and English printed text are both supported; handwriting recognition accuracy varies and may need manual correction.

Will this work on my Android phone?

Yes, the tool is designed mobile-first for Android Chrome, with large touch targets and camera capture support, and also works on desktop browsers.

Is there a page limit?

The tool is designed to comfortably handle roughly 1–50 pages per PDF, depending on your device's available memory.

What happens if I refresh the page by accident?

The tool keeps a temporary copy of your session in your browser's local storage where possible, and will offer to restore it when you return.

Privacy

Photo to Notes PDF Maker is built to work entirely on your device. Image import, cropping, rotation, enhancement, OCR and PDF generation all run as JavaScript inside your browser tab. No image or generated PDF is transmitted to any server as part of creating your PDF. Any temporary session data is stored only in your browser's local storage and can be cleared at any time using "Start over".
